Professor Robert McChesney  returned to Tell Somebody for the February 12, 2013 edition to talk about the vital importance of independent media and the urgent need to support it.

Robert McChesney is co-founder and former president of Free Press, the national non-partisan media reform group that organized opposition to the Federal Communication Commission's decision to relax media ownership rules in 2003. He is the author of many books, and is the Gutgsell Endowed Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana..
